Travel blogs often frustrate me, but yours is awesome, and you haven't even left yet. You have your own voice. Keep writing.
/Nico
(I'm departing early March for NZ, then ??? Also a little older than the average backpacker. Also wondering how my old 65L looks so much smaller than the 65L currently in the store. So maybe I like your blog because it feels like I could have written it. ;-)

Thanks for the mention and congrats on the last day of work. Did you get a 48 page passport or the regular one? Try not to lick this one so much; maybe it will actually dry out.

I've got a 60L as well, but on you it's going to look far more normal. Being a midget and all, it still looks gargantuan on me.

Have fun traipsing around in the snow!

Bang on the money! The travel pic rocks. You're ready!
The best thing Eva ever did was choose her smaller pack (a micro 42L! but shaped more like your 60L). Having a smaller pack is a freakin' godsend. It's no sweat to shlep and it makes you take those trips to the post office when things just need to go back home instead of pile up (for the record - everything we're sent WORLDWIDE had made it).
The blank pages? Those are beautiful — but the local art will fit nicely :) Thanks for finding us!

If there is ever a time for a self-pic, it's right before your last day of work. Congrats!
